Low Brow Hi - Key

I love Hi-Key photography. Breaking it down to just the background void of any content, and presenting the subject in isolation. The trick to getting a solid hi-key images is a careful eye on your ratios and spill from your strobes. When done right, you end up with a very commercial and marketable image.

The Avett Brothers are a great group that hails from the great little town of Concord, NC. Their show was filled with a rhythmic energy that I tried to capture in the photos.

Dave Matthews = Amazing

Had the privilege to shoot a band I have listened to for over a decade now, The Dave Matthews Band. Of course I jumped on the opportunity immediately. It was a fantastic show, Dave and the guys met the high energy expectations of the crowd, and then some.
